If you are interested in writing an article about any aspect of Scott's history, please send it to us and we will consider using it in the history book.  Illustrations depicting wildlife and flora of this region would also be considered.  Other considerations  would be drawings of town streets and local buildings.  All illustrations and drawings will be reduced to comply with the book's page format of 8.5" width by 11" length. Coloured images can be submitted. All artists are encouraged to submit their artwork.

All family photgraphs, newspaper clippings and documents will be handled with care and returned to you in their original condition once the book is printed.  Please do not send photocopies since they do not reproduce or print well.  If preferred, documents and photographs you would like to include with your histories, can be scanned and saved (jpeg format) onto a CD disk and mailed.  Emailed submission will also be accepted.   Please provide a self stamped envelope with your return address if you would like your photographs returned by mail prior to the Centennial Celebration.

Photo Submission:

All photgraphs have to be marked by the person who is submitting them, so please put your full name on the back of all photographs.  Please identify everyone who is shown in the picture.  Include a brief description, including location of where the photo was taken, and the date.

Please note:

At present there is no limit to the number of photos that can be included with your family history.  We do however, reserve the right to print only the photos that we consider suitable, with respect to quality of the image and the image's actual content.
