In 1910 land seekers gathered at Scott before leaving for the Tramping Lake district in search of farm land. The Queen's Hotel can be seen in the background (building on the left).
1910 Land Seekers
Original Scott school house, formerly Champagne School. Construction was started June 1909. The school began operations on August 16, 1909 with Mr. Lowands in charge. The second room was opened in November 1909 with Miss Esplin as the teacher.
